EmberFest went off like magical sparks in Spirit Square on February 15th, with a massive crowd gathered to watch the community pageant and to enjoy live music throughout the night. It was a whirl of whimsy, art, and community and carried on a 19 year tradition of celebrating winter and the changing of seasons in Golden.

Around the bonfire, community members shared their hand made creatures, costumes, art and performances. This year we shared the story of our community and celebrated the rejuvenating powers of change! Behind the scenes, the hands of many volunteers kept the production wheels turning smoothly. The spirit of this festival can be seen in the hard work and dedication of these community members who are so willing to contribute their time and energy to create an experience for the community. Without them, EmberFest simply could not happen.
