Reporting to the Civic Centre Coordinator, the Commercial Cleaner will provide timely, thorough and efficient cleans of the rooms as required after rentals. This position is reasonably flexible but will require some full days of cleaning after larger events.  You will work independently and as part of the team.
Kicking Horse Culture, the Town of Golden and the Columbia-Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) announce that Bill Usher, the long-term Executive and Artistic Director for Kicking Horse Culture will be retiring, once a suitable successor has been found. This follows a planned transition process ensuring Kicking Horse Culture’s programs and services continue without interruption for the citizens of Golden. Usher will remain throughout the transition in his current capacity, after which the three-time Juno winner has hinted at his eventual return to performing.

The wild & silly creatures of the valley have met and we are starting to dream BIG about welcoming Snow King & Lady Spring and the whole wild & silly community back for a fantabulous bonfire Pageant in Spirit Square on Saturday Feb. 11!

The prime responsibility of this position is managing Civic Centre rental bookings and providing excellent customer service to rental clients. Depending upon your skills, arts and cultural experience, and your availability, you will also work alongside KHC staff to support the coordination and marketing of our various events and initiatives — with special focus on the Christmas Craft Faire and the MasqueParade.
Given the state of the world, KHC is introducing a Pay What You Can option to our concerts at the Civic Centre through October and November.
Reporting to the Executive & Artistic Director, the Coordinator will provide superior front line customer and client service; manage Civic Centre rental bookings; plan and manage the coordination of projects and events; and liaise with other team members regarding administrative duties.  Very flexible part-time contract.
