The wild & silly creatures of the valley have met and we are starting to dream BIG about welcoming Snow King & Lady Spring and the whole wild & silly community back for a fantabulous bonfire Pageant in Spirit Square on Saturday Feb. 11!
Every year we create an Annual Report video to be presented at our Annual General Meeting. This report is for our previous Fiscal Year June 2021 through May 2022. The report is full of photos from the various events and activities that KHC presents for the community of Kicking Horse Country. Take a look here and remember back to the year that just was.
Snow King & Lady Spring will come back to the valley on Saturday evening Feb. 11, 2023. Previous and NEW "wild and silly" folks are gathering Wednesday Nov 23 at 5:30pm Golden Civic Centre to dream the process of creating this year's MasqueParade and we invite YOU to come join us for some pizza and ... fun! Please RSVP!
The prime responsibility of this position is managing Civic Centre rental bookings and providing excellent customer service to rental clients. Depending upon your skills, arts and cultural experience, and your availability, you will also work alongside KHC staff to support the coordination and marketing of our various events and initiatives — with special focus on the Christmas Craft Faire and the MasqueParade.
Given the state of the world, KHC is introducing a Pay What You Can option to our concerts at the Civic Centre through October and November.
Reporting to the Civic Centre Coordinator, the Commercial Cleaner will provide timely, thorough and efficient cleans of the rooms as required after rentals. This position is reasonably flexible but will require some full days of cleaning after larger events.  You will work independently and as part of the team.
Reporting to the Executive & Artistic Director, the Coordinator will provide superior front line customer and client service; manage Civic Centre rental bookings; plan and manage the coordination of projects and events; and liaise with other team members regarding administrative duties.  Very flexible part-time contract.
