Every summer, the world comes to play in Golden, and so does the community at Summer Kicks.
Presented by Kicking Horse Culture, Summer Kicks is a FREE outdoor concert series featuring touring artists from across Canada alongside amazing local performers. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy live music, dancing, and community under the mountain sky.
This year, we’re excited to expand the series into Area A for the first time with two special concerts:
BLAEBERRY: June 17 Hillside Lodge & Chalets
PARSON: June 25, Parson Park
The series continues every Wednesday from July 1 to August 19 at Keith King Memorial Park.

Every summer the world comes to play in Golden and so does the community at our Wednesday evening Summer Kicks concerts. The series hosts phenomenal touring bands and features our own homegrown artists (Tweeners!). Concerts are from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. You’ll find yourself among friendly folks who enjoy great music and good company.
Bring your lawn chair, umbrella or picnic blanket. Grab some grub from local food trucks & vendors. It’s a great time to bring out your drawing or painting projects, art supplies encouraged!
Shade is limited. Good times are abundant!
Summer Kicks shows from July 1st-August 19th will be held at Keith King Park, 1501 Maple Dr, Golden. The park is accessible by foot, bike, or car.
New This Year! Shows in the Blaeberry Valley and in the community of Parson.
June 17th – Hillside Lodge at 1740 Seward Frontage Rd, Golden, BC.
June 25th – Parson Community Recreation Park. 3612 Highway 95, Parson is 33 kilometres south of the Town of Golden on Highway 95.
Please be respectful of the neighbours and drive slow. Carpooling is encouraged. Be safe on our roads, don’t drink and drive!
The show goes on – rain or shine! However, severe weather events like lighting strikes or fires may affect our performances. For the safety of the artists, public, and equipment, the show may be moved indoors. KHC will notify the public via facebook, social media and sandwich boards throughout the community by 4:00 pm on the day of.
Our Summer Kicks Series is looking for youth who are curious about all things Tech and Festival. Join our exceptional festival team and learn the fundamentals of running a festival from behind the scenes. Working festivals is fast paced and exciting. In this role you will learn how to support sound, lighting, social media, stage managing and so much more.
