A Great Job Awaits You at AGOG!

The Art Gallery of Golden has been Golden’s destination for visual arts since 2008. Our Studio Gift Shop displays and sells the creative efforts of more than 150 local and regional artists. In addition, our staff work closely with local and regional artists to annually curate 8 to 10 monthly exhibits in the gallery. All of this is a great attraction for the more than 12,000 visitors —  both local and out-of-town — who come through our door to browse and buy each year.

The majority of our staff have been with us for many, many years. With one of our staff retiring, we have an opening to come join us at AGOG. The ideal candidate has a background and a love for the visual arts and has experience providing exemplary, friendly customer service in retail sales with experience with point-of-sale systems. Microsoft office skills are essential. Pay is competitive and supported by an annual health contribution. Generous training and ongoing mentoring is provided to support your growth in the position and help you develop additional skills.

To start, we are offering a part-time position staffing two 6.5hr shifts per week on Friday and Saturday. We project that additional shifts will also be offered from time to time as staff flex their time for family and holidays.

If this sounds like a good fit for you, please review this additional information and then email your resumé with a cover letter describing your relevant experience to info@kickinghorseculture.ca — please no phone calls or Facebook messaging.

Thanks!
