We are currently hiring for two gallery positions and are looking for friendly, organized, and community-minded people who are excited to support arts and culture in Golden.

Gallery & Administration Assistant (Part-Time)

AGOG is seeking a highly organized, personable, and admin-confident individual to join our team as a Gallery & Administration Assistant. This role is administration-forward. While it includes customer service, exhibition support, and art handling, the core of this position is managing systems, inventory, records, and daily operations that keep the gallery running smoothly.

This position is well suited to someone who:

  • Enjoys administrative work and takes pride in keeping things organized
  • Has experience working in an arts or cultural environment
  • Is comfortable balancing behind-the-scenes admin with public-facing responsibilities
  • Can work independently, follow procedures, and manage recurring tasks with consistency

Casual / On-Call Gallery Assistant

The Art Gallery of Golden is seeking a Casual / On-Call Gallery Assistant to provide occasional coverage during staff absences, including sick days, vacations, or unexpected gaps.
This role is as-needed and infrequent, with no guaranteed hours. It is ideal for someone looking for flexible, occasional paid work who enjoys being in a gallery environment and feels confident working independently in a public-facing role.

The Casual Gallery Assistant’s primary responsibility is to keep the gallery open, welcoming, and running smoothly during coverage shifts.
