About The Event
About her work, Enid says: “When I watch cutting edge athletes I think of the dedication and hard work, the sacrifices and pain the athletes have endured in reaching for their dreams. As an artist I have studied the complexities of the human body. Because of my own experience of paralysis and malfunction, I [have taken classes to learn about] dissection and explanation of joints and muscles to better understand movement. It has led to immense respect and appreciation of what pro athletes demand of their bodies.”
We look forward to welcoming Enid’s work with an opening reception on Friday, October 23rd, from 5pm – 7pm and would love for you to join us.
