Inspired by her work outdoors, Trina Wolfenden's art is filled with boldness and colour that celebrates joy and how it can be found in the landscapes of the Columbia Valley.
About The Event
I am incredibly lucky to have an outdoor job where I get to see some of the valleys most beautiful sights. This is a series of paintings from all of the recreation sites that I look after. I want to showcase that choosing a job that you love and appreciating the scenery that you can find in my everyday work day is one of the main reasons to love living in the Columbia Valley.
I love adding bold and fun colours because I believe as an artist I can add my own joy into every piece I paint. The process of creating is the highlight for me and it’s icing on the cake to have a pretty work of art that goes on my wall immediately.
About the Artist
Trina is a born and raised resident of the Columbia Valley. She loves to paint in acrylic. The fast drying properties work well with her excitement levels! There are also so many great colours to play with, it’s limitless… From oil paint like heavy body to fluid acrylics for glazes – the range of products is great as well, it is extremely versatile.
