About The Event

The Jumping Rodents are a fresh, original, high-energy 6 piece funk band born in a shop in the woods in Parson B.C. With guitar, bass, trumpet, saxophone, keyboards and 13 year old prodigy drummer driving the bus.

“The Jumping Rodents debut EP is a funk blast from start to finish! It’s so great to see the next generation of funk lovers and music makers bringing their creativity to the world. All For Something is tight, punchy, full of fun, and will have you up and groovin ‘from the get-go.”

Maya Balon
Maya is a third generation Golden girl who spends her days playing and learning in nature. When she isn’t covered in mud or climbing mountains, you can find her dancing on stages across Alberta and BC, swimming competitively, snuggled in a cozy corner reading books, or practicing new country or alt-folk songs on her guitar.

Jake Pawley
Jake is a 16 year old who started out doing karaoke and picked up a guitar and started making music. He’s born and raised local, and following his dreams!

Finni Jobin
Finni is a singer and guitar player who is heavily influenced by everyone’s favorite music genre: Musical theatre! Reviews say “Its pretty good I guess.”
