KHC presents: Intention Candle Making Youth Workshop
Who loves candles and good vibes? Join artist Jeanette Jackson for a fun and creative night at the Golden Youth Centre where we’ll be making our very own Intention Candles! Learn about nature's energies, the phases of the moon, setting intentions, and candle pouring.
About The Event
Together, we’ll explore the phases of the moon, how to set intentions and work with energy while creating candles that reflect your goals, dreams, and wishes. You’ll get to choose your own:
- Crystals
- Flowers + herbs
- Colours
- Spices
- Tins
Everything is included — just bring your creativity and your energy! This workshop is all about having fun, connecting with others, and learning how to use nature, crystals, and intention to make something beautiful and meaningful.
Come hang out, get crafty, and take home your own one-of-a-kind candle to light the way for your next chapter.
Registration is required, please follow the “buy tickets” link to register. Entry is free, but we encourage a $5 – $15 donation to attend this workshop.
About Jeanette
Born and raised in Golden, I’ve always felt most at home in the quiet embrace of the mountains, forests, and rivers. Living in the country keeps me deeply connected to nature, the animals who share this land, and the rhythm of the seasons. That connection flows into my work, where I create candles as vessels of light, intention, and healing. Beyond creating, I love sharing my knowledge and wisdom with others — teaching people how to connect with nature, align with the ebb and flow of life, and discover the healing power that surrounds us.
